About David

David had a love for the accordion at the early age of three when his older brother would be practicing the accordion. He would attempt to play a toy accordion given to him by his father.  David began formal lessons at the age of six, and almost immediately he was playing for local groups such as the 4H Club and represented that club at the Eastern States Exposition for 7 years.  Other venues included local Convalescent /VA Hospitals, Church, and other non-profit organizations.

At the age of 14 David was considered a professional (since he played his first professional gig at the age of 12) he could not enter the amateur accordion competition, but he had the thrill of lifetime, he was asked to perform with the famous Myron Floren (the accordionist from the Lawrence Welk Show). David went on to play at local venues with his accordion teacher Mike Brobrowsky, they were the featured “Dueling Accordionist” act for many years at many area restaurants

In David’s freshman year of college, he started to perform with the Dick Pillar Orchestra, and that began David’s thirty-year career performing Polish Music with some of the finest musicians and band leaders in the country.  He traveled extensively around the USA and Poland, recording seven albums before retiring from Polka Bands.

Today David performs mostly solo, and enjoys bringing various styles of music to his audiences young and old alike… performers such as Billy Joel, George Benson, Nat King Cole, Bobby Vinton, Frank Sinatra, Elvis, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin,  and Sammy Davis Jr… Big Band Sounds of Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Duke Ellington that make you want to clap, sing, dance, or tap your toes to the "American Song Book Favorites “with his Roland Digital Accordion which provides a live full band sound without the use of pre-recorded tracks.
